Responsible gambling

Everything on this site says the same thing in different ways: roulette has a fixed price and no play skill can remove it. That makes the only winning move a budget you set before the first spin, a clock you actually obey, and the honesty to stop when it stops being fun. If it ever feels like it isn't a choice anymore — free, confidential help is below.

Ground rules

Money: decide the session budget first; never chase; never play with money that has another job. Time: set an end time — at 40–90 spins an hour the "one more spin" loop is designed to never end. Head: don't play upset, tired or impaired; variance punishes tilt. Speed: tempo is the hidden multiplier — a faster table bills more per hour at identical stakes, so slowing down is a limit too.

Warning signs

Hiding play or losses · gambling with bill money · chasing with bigger bets · restlessness when not playing · borrowing to play. Any one is a reason to pause and talk to someone.

A 30-second self-check

Do I play longer than planned? Have I hidden a loss? Does the “win it back” voice pick my bet sizes? Has play money touched bill money? One “yes” is information; two is a pattern — and patterns respond best to early, boring interventions: deposit limits, session timers, a week off.

Use the operator’s own brakes

Licensed casinos ship deposit limits, loss limits, reality checks, timeouts and self-exclusion in account settings — they work best set before a bad night, when the decision is cheap. This site is the mathematical version of the same advice: the price is fixed; only exposure is negotiable.
