How are roulette payouts calculated?
Every standard bet pays (36 − n)/n to 1, where n is how many numbers it covers: 1 → 35:1, 2 → 17:1, 12 → 2:1, 18 → 1:1. The wheel’s real pocket count (37–39) exceeding 36 is the house edge.
What does a $10 straight-up win pay?
